Baptism is the first and basic sacrament of Christian initiation. In the Western or Latin Rite of the Church, baptism is usually conferred today by pouring water three times on the recipient's head, while reciting the baptismal formula: "I baptize you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19).

Here at the Church of St. Marcus a pre-baptism class is required for all parents seeking baptism for their child.  Please contact the Pastor to arrange for a class and to set a date for baptism.
