Church of St Marcus

The Eucharist is the central celebration of our faith community and provides a focus for all of our Catholic life. As a general rule our 2nd grade children prepare for 1st Eucharist. We have a home preparation process which includes materials to be completed at home as a family, a parent meeting and a family retreat to aid parents in preparing their children. You may participate in this program at a later age as well.   Typically 1st Communion is celebrated in early spring. 

Tentative 1st Communion Dates are as follows:

Parent Meeting: January 4th, 2010 6:30 PM

1st Communion Retreat: February 27th, 2010 (Time to be determined)

Celebration of the Sacrament: TBA
